The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream

Inspirational and Educational In a word, Fantastic! This autobiography provided a great opportunity to get to know who is now President-Elect Barack Obama. I really felt like I was a bird on his shoulder as he graphically provided a view of Washington and politics not seen or talked about with those not in that circle. It took what I remember about "School House Rock" to another level. A great read...I highly recommend it. Trinice Speight Moses Mt. Holly, NJ
You Don't Need a Reviewer to Know This Book Is Worth Reading What could be more important to understanding the new President than hearing what he has to say? After a long campaign of stories about Obama, this book tells the story from Obama's perspective. I found the book engaging, motivational, and interesting. Obviously, Barack Obama finds ways to touch the American people, and he does so in this book.
Giving this country hope I am a moderate and disgusted with how polarized the past eight years has been. I really appreciate the common sense Obama writes about and the need for us as Americans to come together to move this country forward. I really enjoyed reading his stance on the key issues. It is about time that we have such an inspirational leader.
